Calum attacked me. I was no match for him on my own.

I'm fine. Worn out. I'll try to think of another strategy later.

...Suddenly I'm thinking of all the stuff I'll never want to tell Eli and Elena, and realizing that Jalen'll just do it for me. Or sit there and point out why I should and drive me nuts until I do it. Bah. Ignore me, I've been thinking too much lately.

Why wouldn't you want to tell them anything?
Those kids will be lucky. Think of all the great stories they'll get to hear. I'm looking forward to it, myself, storyteller that I am.

I just don't want to- Well, it's not like I'm perfect, and...ugh.

It'd just be a lot easier to say, "Don't do that, you'll get hurt" and not have to hear, "But you did it!" Or something like that. Of course, then I get to come back with, "And I got hurt, so don't do it." Okay, I'm good now.

You know, Jalen'll embellish on the Wyvern story. Like it needs it. But then I can tell the kids about their father's time as a puppet! ^__^

See? It's way too much fun to keep all that secret.
It's all about how you present it to the child. It's quite possible to teach them that, while these things can be done, it is very dangerous and should only be attempted by someone who knows what he or she is doing. Even young children can understand this. A lot of parents just don't know how to teach it right, sad to say.

Bah. I think Jalen would kill him first. He's pissed about what happened to you, not just because you're my friend, but because he's starting to consider you his. Have fun getting him to admit it out loud, though.

Initially, yeah. Then he'd remember how bad he is at fighting games and excuse himself to go turn off the stove, or something. *giggle* He's only good at puzzle games and rpg-type stuff. I suck at fighting games myself for the most part, but I'm a button masher. I also take full advantage of backing people into corners and using the same cheap move over and over until they're dead.

Jalen does not like playing with me. ^^

I always hated fighting games because they made my wrists hurt.
Of course, I just ignored it when it came to KH.

But for Jalen I'll stick with chess. In geospace, preferably. It's one of the best games for getting to know your opponent.
