Calum attacked me. I was no match for him on my own.

I wasn't expecting easy.

The thing is, I tried with all my willpower to slip past him, and then to escape him after he caught me, but I was helpless. It was on my ground, under my dream spell, but if not for Josiah, he might have destroyed me.

I hadn't dismissed the possibility, but I needed to try. I was hoping that I could stay unnoticed at least until I found out how Josiah is being held. Which I didn't.

To be honest with you, I almost wish I could just call it a lost cause, but this is Josiah. I can't give up on him.

Another thing I want to do is take a look at the grimoire, if I can. Something was... wrong with Josiah in there. He seemed tainted, somehow, by Calum. Or by Calum's black magic, more likely. I want to find out if that's possible, because the alternative Lilith seems set on believing is that the whole thing was a trick, and I won't accept that yet.

I know there isn't anything I can do about Calum. I don't really know enough about what exactly is going on to even ask someone for advice. Most people I can think of to ask would probably have to see him to really be of help anyway.

My priority is making sure that no more harm comes to Josiah and finding a way to restore his control over his own body. I think it can be done, if I find the right approach.

It's neutralizing the threat Calum presents that will be more difficult. I... have no idea how to deal with him. Lilith knows him best, and she has not been very encouraging.

It's too bad you can't just take a whole team into his head - a big group to distract Calum, and you and Amy to sift though his brainstuffs. That would probably be a lot easier...

Still, we all want to help Josiah too, so if there's anything that we can help with, just let us know and plus, I'm starting to get restless.

Well, like I said to Aria, dealing with our other problems is just as helpful. We still need to find out what the hell is wrong with the worlds.

I suggested it to Jenn already, but again, I do think trying to contact Aslan is a good idea, since he is technically a world spirit, among other things.
