I hate jello, and I'm not fussed on FLANS either. And it has come to my attention that they are not weak to physical attacks.

Think they'll be much different?
At least if a normal behemoth rips out your heart, you won't turn into a murderous shadow monster or an emotionless shell.

Actually... I'm suddenly not quite sure which is worse; dying permanently, or becoming a killing machine but having the slim chance of being restored to your former self.
I have to say, I'm rather glad the Heartless didn't just kill me that night.

Oh well. Heartless are still worse, if only because they reproduce like zombies.

Well, I won't be too worried about zombies when magic is working again since they're vulnerable to both of the spells I know... assuming Cure kills them like it did in the games... Not to mention the Holy imbued sword...

At least if there are any zombies, they'll be the FF type ones that don't mortally infect you when they bite.

What do you think is worse; Heartless or proper horror movie zombies? Zombies are usually slow, but they don't actually have to beat you in a fight to kill you.

We actually don't know for sure what FF zombies can do yet. With any luck, they're mostly the same as the games have shown (as in, vulnerable to Fire and Holy and maybe can also be killed by healing spells). On the other hand, it would suck if they can also temporarily turn someone into a zombie, as shown in some games, because that would be all kinds of suck.

I'm really not sure which is worse. Zombies are pretty nasty. Even if they can't infect you with a zombie virus, it's still a dead rotting body walking around and probably carrying some nasty germs. Although, generally, they aren't available in near infinite numbers. The Heartless don't have the germs, but they do have the numbers. Both tends to mob... it's probably subjective...

Definitely subjective. Depends on what you're more afraid of and which you're better at fighting. Heartless were nightmarish, but at least they're familiar. I'd rather have them back than the really deadly sort of zombies.

The whole topic is kind of funny, in a sick sort of way. There was that zombie blog game the day before the Heartless came...

FF6 was one game where they could do that. I can't recall which others off the top of my head.

True. At least we know what's up with the Heartless. Zombies, or undead in general even, we don't know. If they do turn up this would be our first encounter with them.
