Jalen woke up with a fever this morning. So what does he do? Gets dressed and tries to leave for work.

Ah ha ha. No.

I tied him to the bed for a couple hours. Seriously. I knew all those ribbons I've been saving would come in handy...but anyway. I apologize if he made too much noise, he was...yeah. Unhappy is probably putting it mildly. Hey, like he never threatened to do this when I was sick! He threw my ribbons out the window after I let him go.

I swear Song, you're a terrible influence. I must've gotten this from you somehow.

Anyway, he seems okay. I mean, the fever's not getting any worse, and his stomach's only bugging him a little, so it's probably nothing. All the same, everyone else in this house might want to avoid him for a bit.

Nothing, they're just turning into my new places to hide from doom. Or maybe it's coming back, I spent a lot of time in trees as a kid, before I became afraid of heights. Hey, I think that's improving a little too!
