Refugees, we want this game to start off the new year right. And what better way to do that than to address the things that didn't go so well in the past and try to fix them while we can? So, that said, this is World Refugees: Final Mix's first official

~Critique Post~

Those of you from WR2 should know how this works. But since we've got some newer players who aren't familiar with the routine, we're gonna tell you how this works anyway.

1. Post a comment listing your characters, even if it's just yourself at the moment.
2. Wait for critique.
3. Dish out some crit for some other players!

Now, this doesn't have to be an all-out love meme. That's not why this is here. This is so we can all try to improve! That said, there's no need for flaming - what we want to see here is constructive criticism, if you please. If you've got a reason for why you think someone should do this or stop doing that, tell them! Just don't be an ass about it. If it gets to that, a mod will step in.

Anonymous commenting should be enabled for now, and IP logging should be off, if anyone wants to use it. Don't abuse the privilege, though, or it will be disabled in a heartbeat.

But hey, we're all friends here, right? So let's keep this civil and constructive, and let's all try to be better self-inserts for 2011. :)

I'll just do one for the game itself since I don't know everyone well enough to give personal critique.

It seems like you've got a really great game here, one that's survived a long time. I'm still a little confused about the plot right now. I can't tell where this is going unless we're just hanging out and dealing with whatever falls on our plates. It seems like we've got a lot of little baddies but nobody in charge. Of course for all I know that's part of the plan. I'm just used to knowing who the "Main Boss" in a story is or what the goal is.

Besides that, it's all cool. I like what's going on with the BBS trio and I love how well settled the refugees are on radiant garden. It's an interesting set-up.

Wah. Wah. I'm a troll and I hate everybody . . .

No, really, things seem to be speeding up again and that's all to the good. I'd like to get more of a taste of what the bad guys are actually up to and move forwards in that. More events might help with that, though it's hard to be sure.

This has always been a fun and entertaining game and a large part of the fun has always been the interactions among refugees. On the other hand, there is also a need for things that are bigger and more. I still have no idea what was happening with all of the cataclysmic events we were having some time ago, and how that relates to the current story.

As a whole, I'm pretty happy with the game at the moment.

GET OUT WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE.

No, seriously, I mentioned this in chat so idk if you were there or not, but... There was supposed to be a log doing just that? Hell, even that log with Koios and Maleficent was supposed to do that, but it got Paris'd and that is entirely my fault and I suck. Sorry. We're looking into picking back up some exposition posts, though, so hopefully those will be done and posted soon! I won't guarantee anything, because life can get in the way, but just know that we're working on it and will try to have it posted as soon as we can.
