So... I figured out what was up with Shrek. It was trying to get the stuff to make a Christmas gift for me. Hence the wandering outside of town and general sneaky behavior. After running off to Ivalice to research it, since I couldn't find much in the libraries here, I got back and went looking for it and... found it about to get eaten by a Malboro. That was when it explained what it was doing... after we got away from the Malboro.

I was worried for the wrong reason. Well, this is better than what I was concerned with...

Off topic but, is it just me or do the Heartless not bother Malboros?

((OoC: Some of you might know that I was planning to do something else entirely with the Onion. Yeah, that wasn't working out.))
