So I got off work this afternoon and ran smack into Jalen right outside, which is a little unusual. If he's gonna meet me there, we agree on it beforehand, since I have a tendency to wander if I don't know to stay in one place. He was grumpier than usual, which I was having a little trouble figuring out until I noticed the way he was holding his right arm. The dope sprained his wrist. -_-; I'm not sure how, he only mutters, 'I fell' and changes the subject. I got a potion down him and he's got it on ice, but I'm just astounded. What with magic being kaput right now, he knows better. Hell, he was the one telling me to be careful!

Um, I'm alright I guess. Aerith gave me a few potions and bandaged my arms, so the burns aren't as bad as they could be, but they still hurt a little. But I can touch things now!

Ouch. Fire's the only one I know so far. Glad I haven't tried it since this mess started. I'm already a hazard to dressers, candles, and jackets when things are normal.

Oh, I know he'll be fine. He's whining whenever he needs to write, though, because he's right-handed. Hey! I'm not that bad. Okay, not counting the scar from Port Royale, or the dresser flambé, or the Wyvern...that was just...uh...

Worried about me? The first thing he did was extinguish the office with a fire extinguisher. And then he went over to my computer to see if it was all right. I wasn't even the first thing he attended to.

...Well, actually, now I think about it. I guess he wanted to make sure that it wasn't broken. Those computers are government property and we would have to pay up a lot to get a new one. Thank goodness it's still working normally.

Anyways, I will retreive my Black Shadow Hand and we both can have an epic battle when we get back. And I'll try to drag Will out so you can see his mug. I'm sure he'll be quite shocked at our antics, though...>>

Well, if the computer was broken he might've gotten fired even though you were the one that made the boom, and in that case he wouldn't be able to keep much of an eye on you anymore, so of course he'd check that first...Ignore the babbling.
