Now that my ship is repaired I might go to Ingary to bother Howl about another Stop upgrade. Unless I find something better to do... Howl still makes me want to maim him.

In which case, he should be only slightly dickish. But, that's still a dick, I suppose.

Book Howl is pretty cowardly. Miyazaki Howl can be badass as needs to be. Unfortunately, they're both drama queens.

In either case, go see Sophie if he acts out too much. If anyone can keep Howl in line, or at least give him a much needed kick in the pants, it's her.

I've known Howl for a while now... I learned Stop and Stopra from him. It would just be really awkward to ask the right questions to figure out which he is.

Doesn't seem that awkward to ask Howl if he's Welsh. In fact, it could be a very relevant subject, given the way he traveled between worlds in the book.

If not... he and Sophie might get a laugh out of them. Breaking fourth walls is almost always a delight.

But I'm also getting mental images of what might happen if we reunited the two Welsh mages. I'm seeing Welsh drinking songs followed by havoc.
