i shouldn't be awake, i need to be asleep, not pacing the nursery again. i don't even know why i'm in here, jalen and i found this little baby bed that hooks onto our bed so i can have eli right there and not worry so much that i sleepwalk. but i've just been- something doesn't feel right. worse than it's been, i mean. i don't know. gin thinks it's just maternal instinct and with how stuff's been...but i should know better by now

i've gotta go back to bed before i wake jalen or eli decides he's hungry.
