While some of you guys are off finding Song, things have gotten creepy on the home front. Found another of those damn stick things in the courtyard, of all places, just lying on the edge of the fountain. Seeing as how this counts somewhat as inside Rainbow's End, I'm both confused and freaked out. On top of that, I got an e-mail from granddad today, and among the usual 'I'm good, your gran is knitting the Boy a sweater, and your dog is insane' was a mention of 'a funny stick thing' that he found last week in the shop, neatly propped against the cash register. There was another one placed against the front door of the apartment last night, which he admits is the only reason he decided to tell me. That makes Jalen and granddad trying to protect me, joy.

So very, very unhappy right now. About this, anyway.

In other, less disturbing news, Eli has discovered the joys of getting pudding in Ashlyn's hair. That's the last time I let them have their snacks in the playroom. Also, granddad says the addition is done, so Eli'll have his own room next time we visit. They were able to insulate the storage room and add a door next to the kitchen, so it fits right in.
