shadowchaser.livejournal.comOkay, I know everyone's probably sick of dreams - except Song - but this was pretty funny, in a twisted way. Besides, it's not mine. It's Jalen's. He told me about it after breakfast, and I nearly busted up laughing. I think he was expecting the opposite reaction.
So anyway, he dreamed that Maleficent was back, and she had this little group of 'students' she was teaching magic to - me among them, go figure - and they were doing whatever it was she'd assigned them to, when I started telling them about Sora and Riku and Kairi, and about how we shouldn't be helping Maleficent because she was just using us. Apparently I'd been willing to help Maleficent in the beginning but wised up later. The others were sort of 'OMG YOU CAN'T TALK ABOUT THE KEYBLADE MASTERS HERE' and I got a...lecture from Maleficent. Then, just to be sure she had us all on the same page, Jalen says she showed us a simulacrum of the four of us being torn apart and eaten by Goblins.
Fun times, right? He says the dream ended after we all gave in and acknowledged her superiority.
*snicker* He's mostly confused by it, and kept giving me funny looks for most of the morning, but otherwise it doesn't bother him. I suggested that maybe he shouldn't eat my coconut-covered chocolate fish after midnight anymore. He said I should hide them better. Bah.
...By the way, Aria was right. That battle in the Maw was fun. Note the sarcasm dripping from the walls. The shirt I was wearing that day is ruined; I shouldn't have wiped my blade off on it, but it was covered in Flan. Ugh.
[Locked to Aria and Song]
When I got home, Jalen didn't lecture me, didn't freak out. In fact, he pulled the 'silent treatment' stunt like he used to Before. I dragged him off and made him listen to me. I'm not fragile. Yes, I'm a girl, but I'm a stubborn girl that prefers to at least attempt to fight my own battles. I don't mind being rescued or protected, but I don't need to be treated like I'm made of glass. I understand that back when he was originally alive girls just didn't do things like that, but obviously times have changed. I thought he was doing a lot better in regards to that, and he is. It's just with me...well. Love makes you do silly things, I guess? At any rate, he's going to try harder not to spazz. We'll see.[/lock]
