[There is humming in the background - sounds like "Strangers Like Me" - and the sound of pencil on paper, as if someone was drawing. There's a "hmph", followed by some shuffling.]

Shoot, did I leave the laptop on?

[Footsteps grow louder as they approach the laptop and then...dead silence. Then a short scream.]

OH SON OF A-!

[Footsteps are now very quickly retreating, followed by a door slamming shut. Loudly. A few more seconds of silence before the sound of legs skittering across the floor can be heard. A minute or so more and the laptop clicks off by itself.]

Well that was a pleasant trip. The fleas didn't help matters.

We've been back for a while in case anyone is wondering. Someone should go to the Pride Lands to try and fix Donald's ship. Preferably someone who has the means to drag it back if they can't get it flying.

And now I've gotta get fleas out of my ship. At least it's just fleas and not goblins or something.

Ah, home.

Well, the closest thing to home, anyway. I'm not sure where my heart is, other than in my chest. Guess I can be grateful for that, even if it is on the wrong side.

Sorry for the ramble. I'm rather exhausted.

I am not going on a wild Rakath chase in my little dingy of a gummi ship.
Maybe by the time you get here, Josiah, magic will be working well enough for us to do a little dream play like we planned. I have no idea what I'll do after that. Something will come to me eventually, I'm sure.

For now I'm going to sleep. Tomorrow I think I'll invade the castle library. I missed it so...

Wait, is anyone actually living there right now? I haven't heard a whisper about how the whole Radiant Garden political issue is being resolved. I assume I'd have caught wind of any lynching or violent uprising, so I'm going to hope the silence is a good thing.
