[When Amy starts talking, she sounds perfectly calm, though kind of serious. Uh oh]
Funny thing. Had a very sleepless night last night, ended up sitting around with Chase and yakking to pass the time, cuddled Eli to bits. Very boring night, really uneventful.
Were we the only ones up all night? [The emphasis on 'up' is faint, but there] Hope not!

And for the first practical use of that lock Mabry wanted, it was better than being locked in my room to keep me out of trouble.
