With the barriers down again, it looks like it's time for my vacation to end. Figured this time I should let you all know instead of vanishing off the face of the planet like I did four months ago.

I'll help you all in the best way I can - I just can't do that here. Besides, you all can kick ass without me and my ability to attract bad luck like a magnet.

[she's waiting wherever they were staying, refreshing her laptop screen repeatedly and muttering about how she'll kill him if he disappears like Orpheus did - ignoring the fact that it's rather hard to kill someone who's disappeared]

[enters into the room and watches her for a moment, trying to stifle a laugh when he hears her murmuring. He clears his throat finally but can't keep the smile off his face] Can we at least settle for maiming? I enjoy living, believe it or not.

[a sigh of profound relief, but she quickly covers that with a grin and a shake of her head. She stands up and goes to him, looking him over for a moment in the same way that he watched her]

[she puts a hand on his shoulder and tugs him down a bit so she can whisper in his ear]

[he blinks at her use of the proverb and a small smile crosses his face. He pulls her into a hug and kisses the top of her head] Thank you.

[she lets him hold her for a while, then pushes him away and makes a shooing motion with her hands]

Okay, shoo. Get out of here before I change my mind and lock you up for your own good. Go!

[makes a face at her] I'm not that bad. [gives her a cordial bow that's slightly ruined by his playful grin] Stay safe, Song - the same thing applies to you too. [he pauses and then laughs quietly, almost to himself] Just so you know.
