Yesterday I was bored out of my cervid skull, so today the universe decided to make up for it.

With hunters.

And Heartless.

Okay, one hunter and one Heartless, and then the hunter's Heartless...
Because I probably wouldn't be alive if the Heartless hadn't gone for the hunter first. It's much easier to fight two things with claws than one thing with a gun. [nervous laughter]

I kind of like being a deer, really. I can run fast and kick hard. Rather be a horse, but this isn't too far off.

Anyway...

Is everyone still alive and whole?

Oh goodness - are you okay (regular definition, not Refugee definition)? I wish the gummi ships were working right about now.

I took Mabry's advice and told them I was a friend of Lady Gwendolyn, which turned out great. Other than having to curtsy and wear a dress everywhere (and feeling a little giddy at the period wear), there's nothing too out of the ordinary here. I guess most of the Heartless are under the sea.

I'm still on the edge though.

I'm, um... mostly okay. Scratches I can deal with. I'm just continuously glad that I'm not a gazelle on the savanna right now. Shadows are nothing compared to lions.

Just be careful - no deer caught in the headlights moments, okay? Hopefully the gummi ships will start working soon and we can call get back to Radiant Garden safe and sound and find out what's up with these world shifts.

...and no. I haven't heard from him at all. It's not like him to just... I bet he's fine - probably just gone off and broke his laptop again.

Anyway, at least you're in a safe place, though I personally think the ocean's more fun. Nothing like having a tail instead of legs.

Safe isn't always fun. But even though I like swimming, I'm terribly vain when it comes to my hair. I can't stand it being wet.

Had to sleep in a dumpster last night to avoid a guard dog, but otherwise I'm fine. The town seems to be abandoned by children though, very weird.
