I have a fever. Not a bad one, but still. *facepalm* Jalen says this is what I get for stargazing in the winter. With only a sweatshirt. -_-

It sounded like a good idea at the time!

Besides, like he's one to talk. I caught him out there three days in a row without a jacket. ...Why isn't he sick?

Boys have internal radiators. Completely unfair, but that's life.

I've heard that it has to do with women's circulation being maximized in their abdomens for childbirth purposes, while men have it more evenly distributed.

...That makes sense. By the way, don't worry about me passing whatever it is to you. (Or anyone else, for that matter.) Jalen's keeping me locked up in our room and playing nurse. He says he's being careful around you, but give him a kick in the shin anyway.

I'm not worried about getting sick. A cold isn't going to hurt the baby--I checked with Aerith on the subject. Pregnant women get colds all the time--I just have to be careful about what I take for it. I've already had one mild one this winter and expect have at least one more.

That said I'm on this epic multi-vitamin and have actually been sick less than I usually am in the winter.

He won't even let me leave the room because he's afraid I'll infect Mabry. Of course, he's careful around her.

Ah, it won't. The Great Warrior is also a great worrier and keeps bringing me tea and soup. When I ask him if he's worried about me, he says, "No" and then sticks a cup/bowl under my nose with "Drink this."
