decided to look around a little more today, maybe see if i could talk to the queen. with everyone else not themselves, chances are she won't want to take my head off for blinking at her, right? hopefully.

eventually found the hedge maze garden, and there's a bandersnatch. left my stop ammo and my slingshot back at the rabbit's house like an idiot. it's been so calm around here. had my sword though, so i drew that, and

it fucking BIT me. left arm. why always that one? overlapping my scar from the neo shadow. i got away easily enough 'cause it let go and backed away. my shirt's ruined and blood makes me sick. puncture wounds are no fun and can you believe i can't find a single potion in this damn house? it's all tied up though, and the bleeding stopped.

i'm gonna rest for a while, then i'm gonna go kick it's ass. damn thing's guarding something, i bet.

When you get the chance, I would suggest asking Jalen for training specifically in the area of defense, because it sounds like you have a weakness in your current tactics that leaves your left arm open to attack.

I'd be willing to spar with you too. I could always use more practice.

I haven't gotten the feather yet. I'm going to ask a little later. I've been lavishing him with attention all day and I think we're both having a lot of fun. It's a good thing my vocal cords are still perfectly human. We've been singing together.
I'm almost positive he'll give me the feather when I ask.

I'll put it in a tall vase or something. A giant rooster's tail feather is almost as good as a peacock feather, or an ostrich feather. :3

Heh. Don't worry too much about my ego. It's had enough abuse recently that I don't think it will expand much beyond reasonable limits.

So, I've been meaning to ask you something. Obviously it doesn't matter at this moment, because we're both still recovering, but once your magic is back up to top working order, do you intend to keep practicing dream control, or are you going to stay away from it throughout the duration of your pregnancy?

i've been thinking about that a lot. initially i figured that i'd only practice when i HAD to, like that fiasco with lilith, but...since that stupid virus, maybe it doesn't matter. ugh, i can't explain it. i think it'll be okay as long as i don't let lilith drag me under again. i want to keep HER magic away from eli.

But as far as protectiveness goes, think of how protective Jalen is of you.

Ah. Hmm... the games have been accurate so far about the monsters. You could probably use the Final Fantasy wiki to get an idea of what it's weak against and hopefully you know that spell.
