I was finally feeling well enough to get out of bed for more than an hour or two. I was baking for the first time in months. I was happy.

And now here Ashlyn and I are.  Back in Atlantica. Well, it's back for me. Ashlyn hasn't been here before.

I guess I'll go and see if Eric will take in Lady Gwendolyn and her baby. Can't even imagine what my excuse will be this time. How many times is a shipwreck even plausible?

Hmm . . . I'd say that I was coming to visit and even sent ahead, and that the letters saying so must have gone astray . . . except for the fact that no one would ever believe that I was traveling alone.

Maybe I'll just clam up and refuse to talk about it, and let the court invent what gossip it will.

I like this plan.

Let me know when some form of transportation has been arranged.

I'll be doing embroidery.
