Well, well, are we missing someone? Or two? You know, it's not safe to go wandering about unattended. Some people aren't as good at fighting as they think they are.

[She plays with her necklace for a second before shrugging]

Oh well. I should introduce myself, shouldn't I? I'm Awiergan, a few of you might remember me from a while ago. Lovely wedding.

[She laughs for a second before reaching down to pick up something, then dangles it in front of the screen. It's a silver heart-shaped locket adorned with birthstones. The chain is intact]

Obviously you know who this belongs to. I also have the little one. He's such an adorable baby, not afraid of fire at all. You must be very proud of him, Jalen.

[Awiergan looks off-screen, then disappears briefly. She returns with a squirming Eli in her arms]

Say hi, Elijah!

[Laughing, she reaches out and turns off the video]

Is this typical of the villains who bully the refugees these days? Kidnapping babies for fun and then blatantly broadcasting themselves across the network, begging to be punished?

Maybe I shoulda been here in the days of Org 13. Sounds saner.

Before I finish making my initial opinion of you as someone that deserves to be shot, I'm gonna ask a question. Did you seriously kidnap a baby, just for the Evuls? No ulterior motives, no bloody sacrifices, but because you could?

Perhaps you misunderstood my intention that we not draw attention to ourselves until the current crisis has passed.

The time is not right for overt action, particularly not for the sake of your own amusement.

But very well. Done is done. Reveal no secrets, especially not about the traitors in their midst nor the fact that you are part of something larger. Should they discover anything of importance because of your actions, I will be most displeased.
