I've been lucky.

I've had time to prepare.

I cooked dinner, kissed Ashlyn goodnight, told Brendan I love him.

I don't believe this is the end, and so I will meet the darkness with serenity.

You have accomplished nothing.

These worlds are not under your control. Filled with darkness yes but, that makes them no more yours than throwing garbage on someone's property would make it mine.

Removing the people does not make them yours either.

There is one world that is yours and that is where I will find what I need.

Which one is it, I wonder.

Only one way to tell for sure.

I suppose I no longer have anything better to do...
