The cats in this house seem to be trying to comfort my wife. They certainly aren't attempting it with me, they're just using me as their means to make her smile. It was only a small one, but at least it was there.

Either that, or they're both intent on suffocating me in my sleep.

This is the second night in a row where I've woken up because I've been inhaling fur. Apparently Thorns and that other one - Bugs Bunny or whatever Medrau calls him - have been waiting until I fall asleep, then curling up on my face.

I'm expecting to cough up a hairball if it happens again.

just talked to will. she and the girls went to zamballa, told ironwood what was going on...only reason they didn't get booted off world was because it reminded her of the time her acorn was in danger...eli as an acorn, now there's a scary thought. but she used zamballa's heart to search for him, and nothing. the only saplings there are their own.

i didn't think he'd be there, anyway.

i tried again, earlier, to find his dreams. i still can't. not even a glimmer. it's like hitting a wall that doesn't exist, if that makes sense to anyone else. and god ray, i never even thought about those places. if he's on that beach-

i'm gonna do myself a favor and not sleep tonight. save the nightmares for tomorrow. grandparents are looking around heatherfield. they had FITS when i told them what happened. i wish i hadn't.
