That was the- Dude. I've never seen a three inch Heartless before. Or maybe it was four inches. Doesn't matter, it went 'splodey into pretty sparkles and whatnot.

Hi, I'm not making very much sense, am I? Just kinda thrilled that it worked, I think. Okay, so we went to Meridian yesterday - Don't worry, Eli stayed in the palace with Elyon's mother - and tried out my theory. Basically, in both the series and the comic book, it's hinted that Elyon's power as the Heart of Meridian is Light. I know, probably a duh moment, but I've been trying to take differences into consideration here. Anyway, Elyon opened a portal between Heatherfield and Meridian, with the plan being for W.I.T.C.H. to lure/shove a Shadow through. I wanted to see if just being in Meridian would vaporize it, or if it needed to touch the ground first, or what. Hay Lin and Irma got the first one through with the rest of us on guard in case things went wrong and it tried to get away.

Then Elyon shrunk it. >_>; I don't think she meant to, maybe she was subconsciously trying to minimize the threat, but when the Shadow started coming out, it was...tiny. Hilariously tiny. And it didn't even get a chance to touch the ground before it popped. Once it was fully out of the portal, gone. I think Caleb, Jalen, and Raythor were disappointed there wasn't anything for them to do. Well maybe not Raythor. He didn't approve of the whole 'Endangering the Queen' thing. The girls and I were mostly snickering at Elyon, but we voted to try again, just to be sure, but using the Heart of Kandrakar to open the portal this time. The Neo Shadow was harder to get, and Taranee got a little scratched up, but we got the same results, minus the shrinking thing. Poof into pretty sparklies as soon as it was free of the portal. So yay, happy time! At least partially. Caleb's wondering if this would still apply if Elyon left Meridian. -_- I don't think anyone wants to try that.
