riverfox-237.livejournal.comSo hi, everybody! Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while...been kind of busy. :\
Thanks to Aria and Ria, I got off of Narnia alright....but now I'm stuck in Radiant Garden. Which is okay, I guess, since I'd hate to be a third wheel (apparantly Aria really likes her alone time. Not that I blame her, Silandro *coughandIcough* were asking questions the whole way here.) That was about two weeks ago; I'm staying with a lady named Mabry and earning my keep by running errands for the local produce store, so I'm getting to know the place.
It's been....uh. Eventful and boring and painful all rolled up into a big ball of fun, I guess you could say. I made the mistake of asking Leon to give me some swordfighting lessons. That lasted all of three days before I decided that it would be more beneficial for me to seek out a staff-fighting instructor. After my bruises heal. My many, many bruises. I think I can cheerfully claim that Leon likes me about as much as everyone else, though. Meaning I get the same indifferent treatment, although I'm pretty sure I got a few moments of severe irritation when I wouldn't stop asking questions during one of our matches. It's kind of hard to tell with him.
There was one memorable moment, though. I got an especially hard whap right when Silandro - my Narnian mouse friend - came in, and he thought Leon was attacking me. So Leon got a pretty sharp prick in the foot and I had to yell at them very loudly before they could kill each other. Scary at the time, but kind of hilarious to think back on. That marks the first time I saw a real expression on Leon's face, and it was...well, entertaining. (I'm sort of sorry, Leon.)
ANYways. This led me to asking Aerith if she could help me continue my staff training. That worked out MUCH better, as she is a lot nicer than Leon and more helpful as a teacher (yes I'm sure you are probably reading this, Leon. Good for you. No I'm not bitter, why would you ever think that?) So I've been working with her for about a week.
But seriously? I am...feeling a little restless. So if...I dunno. I haven't met many of the Refugees yet, so if you guys pop into this neighborhood, please tell me so I can stay hi? I still don't know what I'm doing here.
Anyhoo, that's all for today. Hope ya'll are doing well!
