Quick update

Hey guys, just a quick little update on how stuff's going down here in Aus.
To be honest, it's looking kinda bleak. At first it was just the weather staying warm, which we could deal with - we're Aussie's, warm weather is our middle name. But then came these occasional tremors - really tiny little things, barely felt more than a large truck rushing past.
The problem is, these tremors were everywhere. Australia is not exactly known for it's earthquakes - I don't think we get any ever. Except now.
Then, all this week it's been raining buckets all over south east Queensland and northern New South Wales, resulting in flooding in a lot of places. There's more rain expected over the next few days.
Finally, to top it all off, tonight, there was like, a proper earthquake. There've been reports of some houses that were damaged by floods collapsing, but luckily no big buildings, and no deaths or major injuries.
Yet.
My area's got it worst at the moment, with the flooding, but there were earthquakes everywhere. And we've confirmed several cases of swine flu here this week as well.
Sorry for the emo post guys, but I'm just reporting what's going on. Please tell me this is just an Earth thing, not a multiverse thing.
