...HELP?

Hello? …Hello? Can anyone see this?

Okay, this is gonna sound insane, but…something really insane has happened, and I need help and…GAH, this is hard! Can anyone see this at all? I don’t even know how I have an internet connection here!

Okay, okay, look: if you’re from Earth and you can see this, my name is Jennifer and something really bizarre has happened. I fell asleep on Earth this afternoon – I THINK it’s still this afternoon, I don’t know – and I woke up in Narnia. I’m not crazy…I don’t think, honestly, I could be, because the fact that I’m using the internet with a laptop that doesn’t normally work unplugged while there are two talking animals sitting next to me is not usually grounds for calling yourself sane. I won’t mention the OTHER thing that’s weird, because if you haven’t stopped reading this by now, you would after that.

….

I don’t know what to do. Oh crap, I am so freaked out right now and I have NO idea what is going on! If you know what has happened or how to get to me or can at least SEE this, please please please contact me immediately! I will stay on here as long as I can, although I won’t be surprised if whatever is magically making my computer work runs out.

Thank you.

…Oh man I hope this is just a dream…

Oh, your battery shouldn't be a problem either. We noticed that too. In fact, I was one of those who first woke up in Atlantica, as a mermaid, underwater. It's already been mentioned how computers behave there.

Earth was destroyed shortly before Sora set out on his adventure. One of our own - our former leader, Ryune - she actually worked as a teacher on Destiny Island for a little while in the beginning. Sora met her before he knew anything about his own destiny, though of course she kept it secret then.

Our current problems are the ones I already list, earthquakes and odd weather and such. And as I said, we don't have any hard evidence that suggests a cause. It's quite frustrating.

Even when the next game comes out, it may not help. So much was changed... All of the Organization - all Nobodies, in fact - were given back their hearts and lives. Except for Xemnas, but that's part of the story.

Do you have AIM, by any chance? Most of us use that to communicate when we're separated. My screenname is Songbyrd3

Actually, during the final battle, all of the Organization members turned against Xemnas and fought along-side the Refugees. It was... pretty darn epic, to put it bluntly.

The Refugees got to know several of them pretty well even when they were still Nobodies. One of the initial changes to the game story was that Axel left the Organization when Roxas did, so he was the Refugees' ally throughout the second half of our adventure. Demyx joined us later, and even though Xigbar was loyal to Xemnas, he was friendly enough that a lot of the Refs enjoyed his company, when he wasn't trying to kill them.

You'll definitely meet Roxas, if not the others. He and Namine were given their own hearts and bodies.
Axel - who's name is Eric Andrew Levine - actually came from Earth originally, like us, so we think of him as another Refugee.
Edym and Braig are both still very good friends with several Refugees, and I even get along well with Isa these days.
It's... really wonderful, honestly.

I'll add you to my buddy list. Feel free to IM me any time. It would be the easiest way for me to tell the rest of the story, for one thing. Everyone here is sick of reading it anyway. ^_~

Heh. Larxene's Other is a fairy from Neverland. They only have room for one emotion at a time anyway.
I didn't really get to know her, but she seemed friendly with Lexaeus and the others.

The thing you have to understand is this. The Nobodies were never evil to begin with. Most of them just wanted their hearts back, and were simply incapable of caring about the consequences.

And Xemnas... his reasons were good, too. That may be hard to believe, but... he was trying to achieve what he thought was best for the universe. You'll understand when I can tell you the whole story, I hope.
They were never evil... just heartless. That's all.

Well... fair.
I admit that not all of the Refugees agree with my perspective on Xemnas.
And I do have a reputation as a "villain sympathizer".

Maybe you won't agree. Not everyone did, even when the world he wanted to create was described... even when they experienced it, during the final battle.
But we'll see. It is very complicated, and he and I never worked out how to fix all the problems... but I still believe that, under different circumstances, it would have succeeded, and it wouldn't have been so bad at all.

You are right, though. Even I had to fight him, because he wouldn't wait to find another way. But that wasn't really his fault, either.

Oh, this is just not going to make any sense until I can explain the whole thing. The First Darkness, Aqua and Terra, Orpheus, and the Dreaming... It's ridiculously complex, even by my standards.

Heh, believe me, we don't need to debate that point. I am intimately familiar with the phenomenon of Nobodies and their counterparts, the Heartless.

I think Xemnas understood by the end that it wouldn't be a true utopia, but it would have been better than this universe, if it had worked.
You'll see. Whether you actually agree or not, I think you will understand. I could even show you what it would have been like, if we do meet in person. That is, if you don't mind me casting a bit of unorthodox magic on you.

And you can hear the story before that. When we both have time, we'll talk over AIM.

Ah, in that case, you definitely won't be wanting to play with my dream spell. I have been warned about it being more dangerous to use than common spells because of the way it could warp minds....

Oh well. Guess it will just be story-telling without the visuals, then.

[identity profile] songbird9.livejournal.com 2009-06-25 07:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Fair enough.
Good luck with your world wandering.

(ooc: That would be possible, but I don't quite see the point. Either way I'm going to tell it the same way.)

(ooc: Ah, so real-life you knows who Orpheus is, what Xemnas was, and exactly how game-me got to know him so well? Not to mention how the Dreaming works. Those would have been the key points of my story, because everything else can be pieced together by the others.
If you know most of it, you can just ask me about whatever parts need filling in. But if not.... I'm a story-teller. My favorite part of meeting new Refugees is telling the stories~

And it could wait, also, until you are more settled)

(ooc: of course, of course. It wasn't my intention to rush you. I just don't have much to do. XD It can wait as long as you like.)
