...HELP?
Hello? …Hello? Can anyone see this?
Okay, this is gonna sound insane, but…something really insane has happened, and I need help and…GAH, this is hard! Can anyone see this at all? I don’t even know how I have an internet connection here!
Okay, okay, look: if you’re from Earth and you can see this, my name is Jennifer and something really bizarre has happened. I fell asleep on Earth this afternoon – I THINK it’s still this afternoon, I don’t know – and I woke up in Narnia. I’m not crazy…I don’t think, honestly, I could be, because the fact that I’m using the internet with a laptop that doesn’t normally work unplugged while there are two talking animals sitting next to me is not usually grounds for calling yourself sane. I won’t mention the OTHER thing that’s weird, because if you haven’t stopped reading this by now, you would after that.
….
I don’t know what to do. Oh crap, I am so freaked out right now and I have NO idea what is going on! If you know what has happened or how to get to me or can at least SEE this, please please please contact me immediately! I will stay on here as long as I can, although I won’t be surprised if whatever is magically making my computer work runs out.
Thank you.
…Oh man I hope this is just a dream…

Earth was destroyed shortly before Sora set out on his adventure. One of our own - our former leader, Ryune - she actually worked as a teacher on Destiny Island for a little while in the beginning. Sora met her before he knew anything about his own destiny, though of course she kept it secret then.
Our current problems are the ones I already list, earthquakes and odd weather and such. And as I said, we don't have any hard evidence that suggests a cause. It's quite frustrating.
Even when the next game comes out, it may not help. So much was changed... All of the Organization - all Nobodies, in fact - were given back their hearts and lives. Except for Xemnas, but that's part of the story.
Do you have AIM, by any chance? Most of us use that to communicate when we're separated. My screenname is Songbyrd3

Whoa. Dang. That's intricate.
Yeah, I can understand why that would be frustrating. Esp. given that I just, well, freaked out myself when I showed up here.
What, seriously? ...That's pretty nice. Not what I was expecting, but cool. Good for them. Are they still evil?
Uh, yeah, it's Riverfox237. I...I don't know if I should look anyone up for an actual conversation just yet...but maybe soon?

The Refugees got to know several of them pretty well even when they were still Nobodies. One of the initial changes to the game story was that Axel left the Organization when Roxas did, so he was the Refugees' ally throughout the second half of our adventure. Demyx joined us later, and even though Xigbar was loyal to Xemnas, he was friendly enough that a lot of the Refs enjoyed his company, when he wasn't trying to kill them.
You'll definitely meet Roxas, if not the others. He and Namine were given their own hearts and bodies.
Axel - who's name is Eric Andrew Levine - actually came from Earth originally, like us, so we think of him as another Refugee.
Edym and Braig are both still very good friends with several Refugees, and I even get along well with Isa these days.
It's... really wonderful, honestly.
I'll add you to my buddy list. Feel free to IM me any time. It would be the easiest way for me to tell the rest of the story, for one thing. Everyone here is sick of reading it anyway. ^_~

Whoa that's a shift. Ha, can't believe it...this sounds like a AU fanfiction where all the favorite characters turn good just because.
Okay now...THAT is gonna be interesting.
Whoa whoa whoa now, Axel is from EARTH? And here I thought he was supposed to be, like, Reno's Nobody from FF7 or something. That's kinda cool. Nuts and cool. Hopefully it won't break my brain when I meet them, although honestly, I gotta give myself SOME credit, I'm usually pretty good at adjusting to things. Esp. when warned beforehand.
Thanks. ....XD Well, that's their own fault if they're stalking my comments, isn't it. Do you think they are? That's gonna be weird, knowing people I've never meet are reading my comments. They'd better at least say something, darnit.

I didn't really get to know her, but she seemed friendly with Lexaeus and the others.
The thing you have to understand is this. The Nobodies were never evil to begin with. Most of them just wanted their hearts back, and were simply incapable of caring about the consequences.
And Xemnas... his reasons were good, too. That may be hard to believe, but... he was trying to achieve what he thought was best for the universe. You'll understand when I can tell you the whole story, I hope.
They were never evil... just heartless. That's all.
no subject
Well, yes, point. Forgot that detail.
Honestly, you'll have a harder time convincing me of that one. That his reasons were good I mean. Maybe his INTENTIONS were good, but hey, guess that goes along with that phrase, "The road to (you know where) is paved with good intentions." His just so happened to involve wiping out huge amounts of people if they happened to get in his way. Or letting the Heartless do it, I guess. Nnnot really appreciative of that, myself.

I admit that not all of the Refugees agree with my perspective on Xemnas.
And I do have a reputation as a "villain sympathizer".
Maybe you won't agree. Not everyone did, even when the world he wanted to create was described... even when they experienced it, during the final battle.
But we'll see. It is very complicated, and he and I never worked out how to fix all the problems... but I still believe that, under different circumstances, it would have succeeded, and it wouldn't have been so bad at all.
You are right, though. Even I had to fight him, because he wouldn't wait to find another way. But that wasn't really his fault, either.
Oh, this is just not going to make any sense until I can explain the whole thing. The First Darkness, Aqua and Terra, Orpheus, and the Dreaming... It's ridiculously complex, even by my standards.

Aaand BOY I'm not ready for that debate right now, being a faun and all. Oh man...I would love to hear more about it but I'm kinda...on Narnia all of a sudden and I don't want to keep my new, uh, 'friends' waiting too long, you know?
You'll have to tell me all about it sometime if we ever run into each other. =)

I think Xemnas understood by the end that it wouldn't be a true utopia, but it would have been better than this universe, if it had worked.
You'll see. Whether you actually agree or not, I think you will understand. I could even show you what it would have been like, if we do meet in person. That is, if you don't mind me casting a bit of unorthodox magic on you.
And you can hear the story before that. When we both have time, we'll talk over AIM.

And um. Ummm. I will have to pass on that. No offense, just magic in general makes me nervous, and I am extremely (extremely) leery of anything that involves manipulating my mind in any way/shape/form (ex: hypnosis, drugs, etc.) Again, no offense. But that's waaay up there beyond my comfort level.
Look me up later...I need to go and find out if there will actually BE a later since I'm...sitting in a forest with a cheetah and a giant mouse staring at me.
no subject
Oh well. Guess it will just be story-telling without the visuals, then.
no subject
Heh, sure. I'll get back to you when I can?
(OOC: Hey Song, d'you think we could have an OOC convo about this? =) Not sure I'm up for an IC conversation, but if you want to relay the story to me, we can just say IG!Me and IG!You had the convo and so she knows now. That okay with you?)

Good luck with your world wandering.
(ooc: That would be possible, but I don't quite see the point. Either way I'm going to tell it the same way.)
no subject
(OOC: *grins* Well yes, but real-life me has a pretty good idea what's going on and will just sit back and listen like I'm being told a fictional story (which I am), whereas semi-confused IG!Me is listening to a 'real life' story and will constantly be interrupting with, "What, really?" and "How did THAT work?" and arguing all of the controversial things mentioned and it will in general take three times as long. Plus I'm kinda out of it at the moment. ^^; )

If you know most of it, you can just ask me about whatever parts need filling in. But if not.... I'm a story-teller. My favorite part of meeting new Refugees is telling the stories~
And it could wait, also, until you are more settled)
