So I got off work this afternoon and ran smack into Jalen right outside, which is a little unusual. If he's gonna meet me there, we agree on it beforehand, since I have a tendency to wander if I don't know to stay in one place. He was grumpier than usual, which I was having a little trouble figuring out until I noticed the way he was holding his right arm. The dope sprained his wrist. -_-; I'm not sure how, he only mutters, 'I fell' and changes the subject. I got a potion down him and he's got it on ice, but I'm just astounded. What with magic being kaput right now, he knows better. Hell, he was the one telling me to be careful!

...Y'know, it's always the guys that do the stupidest things around here. Maybe we should stop expecting them to try not to do something stupid or get into trouble.

Um, I'm alright I guess. Aerith gave me a few potions and bandaged my arms, so the burns aren't as bad as they could be, but they still hurt a little. But I can touch things now!

After the first hour, I'd end up sending them all to the corner for the day. Well, separate ones.

Ouch. Fire's the only one I know so far. Glad I haven't tried it since this mess started. I'm already a hazard to dressers, candles, and jackets when things are normal.
