In accordance with Chase's recent post, Castle of Dreams has been destroyed.
Furthermore, more Heartless have appeared, though these are ones never seen before, and much stronger than the known varieties. No two are alike - but they all have one thing in common: they've betrayed their surroundings and chosen power over everything, and to do so, they eat the hearts of any denizens of Light they come across. In doing this, their own hearts, never lost, become shrouded in darkness and changes their personalities and disfigures their bodies so that they are hideous, vicious creatures no longer recognizable for what they once were. Be careful - they lurk in the city and attack on sight... and they won't go easy on you.
Due to this development, your weapons will be, shall we say, waking up. They may have been mostly dormant until now, but today they will begin to talk to you, and even transform into humans and back. They've always been able to do this, they say, and have only now done so so they can better help you fight. Some are, of course, stronger than others, chief among them the Keyblades. But each partnership will have their own specific abilities corresponding with one another to defeat the creatures that have appeared, like something of a Limit Break. (Note: this is most obvious with projectiles like guns or bows/arrows - they fire pure Light.)
Oh, and one more thing... There may be some guests appearing today. Who, after all this? You'll have to just wait and see.
