I've been hanging out in the final frontier, getting in trouble, meeting strange people, and strangely, not getting possessed - I know, abnormal stuff.

Eh. There's a difference between real trouble and... challenges. Challenges make life interesting. Challenges sometimes translate as danger, just as you say.

As long as you're not dead or maimed, and haven't added any new emotional scars to your collection, I'll count it as staying out of trouble.

I am rather displeased with the universe at the moment, to put it mildly.

Oh, yeah, other than the initial attack when they all seemed to decide that I was the tastiest looking person at the party. Lovely thing about healing spells and potions, there's not a scratch left on me.

Emotionally... I was a bit freaked out. Probably still am. They were supposed to be gone, you know? No more stolen hearts, ever again.
But you know, very little actually surprises me these days. It's just one more problem to fix, like all the others.

I'd say stranger things... but in this case, I think the return of a bunch of Heartless takes the cake

I'm sure everything will turn out alright. The Refs have had to deal with worse than a few Shadows running around - besides, if all else fails, we can see if we can capture some and sell them on the intergalactic eBay.

I was going to say that you could make me feel better if you came back here and gave me a hug, but I think the laughter induced by thoughts of an intergalactic eBay works almost as well.

actually, I had this feeling that I would be drawn and quartered if I missed yet another Christmas, so I figured I might as well head back that way for awhile - unless you don't want me to come back? ;)

Well, I admit that I was, perhaps not expecting you back for Christmas, but certainly hoping you'd come. But then, that's how I am every holiday, about anyone who happens to be away. Nice to know I won't be disappointed this year~

How is Lilith? Is she in good spirits, at least by Lilithian standards?

I try not to disappoint - it'll take me about two weeks to actually get back though. Still can't drive a gummi ship worth a damn though
