All that work on gummi ships, and now I finally know how to drive one. Sort of. As in, Cid puts it on auto-pilot and I just go!
Anyway, I'm headed to Ancient Egypt for awhile. There's some stuff I'm curious about. Might head to Earth after that for the holidays and my birthday since according to Cid's map, the barriers are back down - anyone on Earth needing a ride to Radiant Garden, let me know.

If you learn anything interesting, you know I'd love to hear it~

I've been watching too much Doctor Who. The word on my tongue (and my fingertips, I suppose) is clever. If you're right, I might even call you brilliant~
Now imagine all that said in a very playful, cheery voice with traces of picked-up British accent and you'll know I've had faaarrr beyond my dose of sugar today. Sorry for the pointless chattiness. Too much sugar and crazy Time Lords, definitely.

I hope someone will know what's going on, although it does feel like the calm before the storm.

There are some great episodes of Doctor Who with Jack Harkness, though. End of the fourth season has everyone working together. Ianto and Gwen too.
Ooh, and there's an episode about the event which inspired Queen Victoria to found the original Torchwood Institute. I think the thing I like most about the series is how so many things connect, not just from episode to episode but from season to season. Things you think you'll never see or hear about again turning out to be key details later. That's my favorite kind of plot twist.
As for the calm before the storm, we seem to get that sensation a lot... At least there may be a little more we can do than simply waiting to find out.
