Without gummi space, none of the worlds would be connected... but many of them are only pieces of worlds, you know? There's an old legend that says the world of Light was shattered into pieces, so it would make sense if the little worlds of Kingdom Hearts are those pieces, but that leaves out places like Earth and Mirror Earth, as well as the Final Fantasy worlds.
